Having the portable pool was definitely a highlight. Thanks Stacey and Chris for teaching us how to put on a life jacket and use it properly.

This term Room 5 learned that being wealthy is not just about having lots of money or possessions. It's about learning to do new things, gaining knowledge, developing skills, sharing with others and even changing our personal views. We all agreed that Term 2 ended on a high note. We're on holiday for two weeks but are very excited about coming back next term. Big thanks to Miss Lorenzo for letting us use her "flash" camera so that we could share our learning with all of you.

Gum Should be Allowed At School
I think gum shouldn’t be allowed at school because….
Firstly, children would get addicted to it.
Secondly, children would throw it on the ground.
Lastly, it would give children germs.
So that’s why I think gum shouldn’t be allowed at school.

GUM SHOULD BE ALLOWED AT SCHOOL
I think gum should NOT be allowed at school.
Firstly, children might spit it on the floor.
Secondly, it could spread germs around the school.
Lastly, a child could step on the gum and get it stuck on their shoe.
That is why gum should not be allowed at school.
