Duffy Role Model
Ever seen Mr Mac dancing? Watching him with Mrs Dines was like seeing a chicken versus a duck. They were dancing like two ballerinas. The classes were all laughing. Monday 4 April was a special day for St Patrick’s. there was a man called Mr Mac who came to visit our school. While Mrs Dines was standing in front of everyone Mr Mac stood up, went over and danced with her while the Duffy Song was playing. When the Duffy Song stopped Mr Mac showed us pictures of Doug the digger. They were cool! Some kids volunteered to read Mr Mac’s book about Doug. When they finished reading Mr Mac told us about how his arm got crushed. He couldn’t drive tractors, diggers, bulldozers and trucks for a long time. And that’s when he decided to write a book. I felt happy when Mr Mac visited St Patrick’s because he made me laugh.
